This is a 390 inflatable Kampa Dometic Rally Air Pro Awning and lots of accessories. Note that it is for HIGH motorhomes, which means it attaches at a height between 220 - 300cm. Check before you buy.
Firstly, the awning. This is made of Weathershield Pro material, a double thickness, 300 denier heavyweight material. It is properly tough. Fully waterproof with taped seams. This is built to last.
It is 390cm wide and fits our 4m Thule Omnistor wind-out awning if we attach it, or we use the throwover straps and Limpet sucker cups
It is held up by inflatable ‘poles’ with a single point of inflation, although you have to ensure all the other connectors are closed! When up, this thing is gale-proof. The flexibility in the inflatable tubes allows it flex, without any danger of it flying off. Believe me, we have seen our awning take on a big wind on the Bay of Biscay, and it was rock solid. YOU WILL NEED A PUMP WITH KAMPA INFLATION FITTINGS. Ours broke, so we went electric.
We have used it five times, when on a longer stay with our semi-integrated motorhome. It is brilliant. Easily large enough to live in when it is too hot to be in the motorhome.
To drive away, you slide out the double keder fitting and disconnect any straps or suction cups. Zip up the inner panels and off you go.
Condition is excellent. I guarantee that there are no rips, tears or repairs to any part of the canvas, inflation tubes, windows, guys, zips or anything. The one caveat is that we didn’t hose it down after its last use, so the mud skirts may have some Adriatic sand on them!
We also added three extra over-throw straps if you need them (originally three, now six) but these could be unpicked if you don’t.
Got as many pegs as you need, but they are the Kampa plastic ones. OK for the job, but I upgraded mine years ago, so you are welcome to them.
Weirdly, I can only find one picture of our awning actually erected and attached (in Netherlands), so the other pics are from the interweb.
The 2022 is almost identical to the 2024 (Kampa told me), and the list price for the 2024 model is about £1600
Secondly the internal cotton ceiling. I don’t know how it works, but it keeps the inside cooler. Easily fixes to the awning using toggles.
List price is £70.
Thirdly, we have the Kampa Dometic Pro Air Tall Annexe to fit this awning. Only ever used once.
Very simple. It zips into the left or right side (depending on your pitch orientation on the day) and adds more internal space. Also inflatable. Also in mint condition, no rips, tears or repairs. Comes with an inner tent if you want to sleep outside. It takes a double airbed easily.
List price is £400
Lastly we have the Kampa Dometic Rally Air Pro 390 Mesh Panel Set. These are zip in/out mossie screens. Life saver if you tour abroad. Completely mint, used only once.
List price is about a hundred.
So the list price for this entire setup is at least £2170. I have seen these awnings going on eBay for about £1000, without any accessories, I'll take £900 for the lot, although it is currently on ebay for £1000. Obviously, the buyer collects.
Oh, and our reason for selling? We have bought electric bikes and the Thule G3 awning instead.
