The reason for the price is simply that the original Exsis was truly unique - A huge 6 foot WIDE drop down bed, spacious shower, plenty of storage & captain's front seats, everything exhibiting that classic Hymer quality, ingeniously packaged in a Fiat base roughly 6 metres long! Normal car parking space? - no problem. They are now very rare (they were perceived as expensive at the time, and consequenly Hymer discontinued the model after only 4 years.)
