Stolen last night from outside of my home in Seaton, Cornwall. There will be damage to rear end as they hit the wall when taking her. Distinctive vehicle being LHD and not so many S630's around. 2 x 200w solar panels on roof.

Found Hetty

After a quite amazing response from the community we started receiving sightings of Hetty in the local area. We then went out in search, whilst receiving more updates as we were scouring the Cornish countryside. Eventually, going down a small lane near the latest sighting, what should come towards me but Hetty. I blocked the road and there was another vehicle behind her so she was stuck. I updated the police with my location and around 5 mins later about 4 police vehicles turned up and apprehended the thief. Hetty isn't without some reminders of her adventure, wing mirror missing, steps completely broken, running lights missing down one side and scratch and dented side trims, broken light/indicator units at rear and so on. The thief even used the loo for a number 2 leaving a mess I have yet to clear up.

But, she is now back and the thief in custody. Just a quick recommendation if this happens to you:- Post on your local social media, it was due to this that we recovered her within 4 hours of seeing that she had been stolen. Also, the response from the men in blue was outstanding.

A tracker will be ordered very soon!!!

Good result - I think ….. hope you can get it fixed though.
One advantage of living where you do I guess, local is local. Where I am, local could be over in South Wales, up to the Cotswolds, down to Somerset or East to Bath in no time at all.!
