Default WiFi printers

A question for you techies.
Just seen one of these WiFi printers in Morrisons fore £50.
I plan to dump Tiscali broadband, & use a dongle from 3
I will have a wirless router not being used, so do I need it to set up a network so it connects all computers with the printer?
Or, do I need a router at all, or should the computer connect directly to the printer via wireless.
My other question is, can I set up my own wireless network using this router?

I have a wireless router (permanently connected to the internet) which allows dsektop and two laptops to be connected to the internet at the same time. My wife has a wifi printer for her laptop (£30 Lexmark from Curry's Digital) which goes through the router and can be accessed by any computer on our home network, provided the driver for it is installed on the computer.
