new modem/router
AAAAAAArrrrggg
Please, please help.
my old router turned into a plastic box so i had to buy a new one.
that was the easy bit.
taken me two days to set it up and i still cant access AOL.
Internet Explorer works fine, get on any site inc AOL thru IE but i cant access aol directly!!!!!
i get an error message 'AOL cannot connect to the internet'
the modem is a NETGEAR DG834GT WIRELESS ROUTER/MODEM
been thru all the settings, both modem and AOL.
i'm both at a loss and at the end of my teather.

have you thought about ditching AOL - they seem to operate to their own rules and idiosyncrasies?? have known far more dissatisfied customers than satisfied

For £9 something a month with Talk talk I get free International calls as well as national and local plus free broadband. International calls can stay connected for 69 minutes then put phone down and redial for another 69 minutes and so on. America, Australia, New zealand etc etc.

sounds like a good deal BUT talk talk have just taken over aol i believe and at the same time everyone in this area lost the lot, broadband, phone lines ect. took 4 days to sort it out.
they cant be any worse than aol but are they any better.
