As long as your motorhome Has berths instead of Births, I really don't give a toss how you spell anything it is only when the change of spelling changes the meaning that I get bothered.

l agree with Lady Jann, some spellings are truly dreadful, also, some words l find are wrongly used. For instance, quad bikes, what on earth are they? Do we have quad trikes?, or maybe a quad unicycle? or even a trike bike? Also something else that makes me smile is birth, as in 4 birth. l could go on, how about the letter "H", l was always pronounced "Aitch", but, the times l hear it pronounced, "Haitch"!.... Sickth, instead of sixth, Help! what is going on?

There's a deplorable lack of standards today in all areas of life; specifically, a few even indulge themselves in a kind of reverse snobbery e.g. ... "I can't spell, does it matter?"
Yes, it does... remember the adage 'You only get one chance to impress' (paraphrased in the interests of clarity)

Continue the decline and we'll be back to monosyllabic grunts and higher e glyphics (sic) [it alludes to 'texting'], plus, I can't spell hieroglyphics )

Where's the evidence that females are better at spelling than their (there/they're ) male counterparts... to what degree does sexual preference affect the ability to spell?

No! This is not aimed at you, if your vanity suggests otherwise, ignore it
