Default 2nd week of respite

Well after the fishing meet near Coventry moved on to Quantock-Orchard NR Taunton (thanks Dick and the big pitch guide)

cant get my dongle to work so back to my trusty T Mobile phone to surf but painfully slow.

On the site I am on a super pitch using city water. Great leisure complex with me in it on my own most of the time, great spa and steam room but sauna suddenly went wrong after my first use (wonder if the fuse has been removed?) but still having a ball but cant keep up with towels, just washed them all in the laundry, £2 for washing machine and onto my 5th £1 coin trying to dry them.

Went to put up the sat dish only to find i was opening it into a tree so praying I have not damaged it, going to be interesting when I pull off on Monday (forgot my steps so cant look) using a £6 indoor aerial from Wilkinsons but boy are the 4 terrestrial channels boring

Being an expert at breaking things:-

Broken my lovely kinetic watch face somehow so when saw it steamed up put in in my carry all at the leisure centre and then managed stand on it bending the strap

At my storage pitch did a super glue repairs but then left there for the fishing meet with super glue lid off on the dining table glueing the table cloth to it and was was like new till this.

Broken some more thinghy but cant remember (typical of me)

Missing my dad terribly and feel awful leaving him in the Alzheimers clinic care home but did need the break and have other issues at home that needs sorting

Back home yesterday.

My poor dad was so tearful to see me and in terrible state mentally (don't think 14 days breaks are fair to him any more)

Had a good time but worried constantly about him and other domestic matters.

Now I have got miles of washing to do and clean the whole house after 2 Great Danes had done their worst

A woman work

Well John in your case " a blokes work"
Your dad is a lovely man, interesting, funny and sweet and I know that he will be fine in a few days and the home will be forgotten so don't beat yourself up about it - you needed a break too not from dad but everything else thats going on.
So
