Default New house small wheely bin

At current house we have a good size black wheely bin but at the new one we have a green tiddly one so got onto our council (same village so same council and collection day) so i phone and asked if they would send us out a proper wheely bin only to be told the small ones is all they send out now to make people recycle more

I have miles of waste with my dad and don't fancy different colour sacks being left out to the elements for weeks on end.

Sorry I am not green but don't drop litter and used the tidy tip whenever we may need it.

If I recycle I have to drive a 5.7 litre car to the point 3 miles away just to dump these items

What is this world coming to.

Tin hat now on in case the green members tell me off

Hi John,

Well I know what I'd do.

Take the large one with me and replace it with the small one.

Waiting for the incoming Flak on this one

No flack from this corner, we now have 3 coloured waste bins and a trade waste bin we pay for
after collection the tri weekly bins (if we can remember what colour we should have put out) go to the same infill site as the trade waste So the point of it all is????????

What i am finding to is no tradesmen want to take there waste away either.

I understand no why but surely it should be costed into the Job.

I bet Geo doesn't throw all the used part in the customers boots (oh whoops being Geo does he)

It's a good idea, but I'd be careful. At best, they'll refuse to empty it, and at worst they'll fine you. Actually, since you can get fined now for not having the lid on your bin closed properly, they may even lock you up or shoot you for putting out a non-approved wheely bin.

Edit: Sorry, should read properly, just spotted it's the same village!

Steve

There both about 14 stone each and would get one in the large bin even.

Arfur no problem but Bryan head might stick out if he's Arfur on his shouder
