Latchets? - Nah, get cold calves. Bucket-tops are far better!

Look forward to meeting you too GJH (and everyone else too , to save me replying to every post.)

Hopefully I'll update by blog fairly freqently, but for some reason at the moment, the link in my sig doesn't take you to the latest entry, so I'll try to remember updating that whenever I post.

Thought you might say that somehow

I need new footwear so we are off to TORM on the way to Newark - means going from Middlesbrough to Ryton and then back to Newark but can't be helped. I could fancy some bucket-tops but I dunno if I can justify the cost - and I think latchets might be more practical for dealing with those wounded who insist on lying down instead of standing up to be sorted out
