thats the one that gets much worse if the man is asked to do anything other than lie on the couch watching sport channels while asking his wife run to round doing things for him isnt it.
( you know im not well, please get me a drink, food, blanket etc etc)

and being female i would be the one saying:-

(get a grip on yourself, your not a little kid so grow up and do like i have to do - put up with it and carry on)

but if it was proper flu, then i would wrap you up with a scarf,jumper,coat and gloves, give you a flask of tea then tell you to carry on
