Hi,
From what i have read it appears the Icelandic people feel that the bank should pay the money back, but as we know the bank doesn't have any money, so we as creditors expect the Icelandic Government to pick up the tab, and from what i can understand the sort of money that needs to be paid back is equivalent to around half of what they spend on there health service in a year.
On one side i can agree with the people i wouldn't want to have to pay more tax to give it to some other countries, and perhaps not be able to treat people in our own hospitals as we haven't got enough money to go round, just because some of our greedy bankers wanted to live the high life,
On the other-side if i had my life savings in the bank I wouldn't care where the money came from I would just want it back.
What would you do,
