Started the diet today, so far so good, but it was nearly a different story. Went to see MIL, who isnt too well, and she fancied a buscuit told me where to find them and opening the drawer I drooled but I thought better of it.
I also started a food diary which I find helps a lot because its an eye opener should you go off track. Last night saw me binge eating and and this morning paid the consequences - we slept in
Dont forget to drink lots of water as this helps aid weight loss

Hi, this is going to be hard as the fridge has lots of goodies in it from Christmas, do I chuck them away to safe temptation.
Thinking of going to Weight watchers tomorrow, but I think we will be snowed in.
Tescos diets are pretty good, if you are lazy you can choose all your menus on line and then hit the shopping button, it works out what you need.
Need to go shopping as no fresh stuff in the fridge.
Good luck everyone
Pat

Pat
if you would like to lose your 12lb in the first 4/5 weeks
get Dr Gillian mc-keith books, You are what you eat, for ideas, and Carol vordamans, detox book, it as a 30 day recipe/diet plan, although some of the suggestion are awful
but the basic plan really works, and its not that radical, but what it does do is re educate your eating habits, We did it 2 years ago and lost over a stone each in 6 weeks

Hi Graham
There are awful diets, not much meat, lots of mung beans etc, and I hear you pass a lot of wind on Gillians diet

Thanks Sinbad,
That was one of my jobs today to create a spreadsheet so I can put mine and Neils weight loss down.
I will go back to bed now, as its cold outside.
