OMG!!!!!! its a film set

the crane carrying the ball is pointing towards the direction of the balls travel......the crane couldnt turn that fast without the ball being pulled upwards due to its own momentum and as the ball falls the cable is straight and tight.

the small crane in the background was holding the ball in the raised position and when released the jib moves upwards slightly as the ball weight is released. (watch it in frame by frame)

the biggest giveaway is the road would not be open to through traffic or pedestrians....a couple of tons of uncontrollable swinging concrete is a law suit asking to happen.

notice the pedestrians on the left background arent moving while the peds on the right will be actors in on the shot

looks good though

There is also a kind of flip device you can see on the underside of the car near the back wheels as it flips over.
