I am sure its been mentioned before but if anyone is looking for a good Spell Checker then they could do a lot worse than using the one that comes included with the Google Tool Bar,

If you have the Google tool bar already installed as it works with nearly all of the Internet browsers i.e. IE?, FireFox etc. Then just click on the little spanner shaped icon on the tool bar then click on the "Tools" Icon then put a tick in the box next to the "Spellchecker" and that's it done.

It puts a Icon on the tool bar that you can click on at anytime to check the typing that you have just completed, its very easy to use.

clicked on the "spanner" but no tools option or spell checker. Using firefox.

Hi,

The spanner on the Google tool Bar should have opened a small window titled "Google ToolBar Options" and just under the title there should be a row of Icons "Search" "Tools" "Buttons" "Layouts" "Autofill" and you just click on the "Tools" then tick the box next to Spellchecker.

I have been trying to find what version of Google Toolbar I'm using but I can't find it try downloading a new version ?

You can right click on the multi coloured word "Google" and then chose options which should open the same window.

Hi, Just a quick update, I have been having problems with the Google Toolbar spell checker and FireFox, it kept coming up with gobbledygook, but it seems at long last the problem has been fixed, you may need to download a new update version of the toolbar if you are having the same problems,
