Well what can I say, I have had a read of all the comments on this site re Timberland Motorhomes. I have already owned two Timberland motorhomes and I am thinking about changing my van again. And Yes I am planning to choose a Timberland again. I have lokked at all the new vans and can not find any that even get close to their quality. As for everyones comments about the aftersales service I have found it to be the best. I will agree with coments that Mr Keven cain does not always ring you back, but he is a busy man. However over the years I have always spoken to Lee in the workshop and most of the time he has sorted my problem out over the phone. I hear you ask hows that well most of the time it turns out to be user error. However he is always willing to help when most of the time its my fault. On th odd time it has not been my fault Lee has posted the parts to me and I have fitted them myself or had my local dealer do it for me (paid for by Timberland) providing I check with them first. I feel that sometimes people are all too quick to oint out when things have gne wrong but never offer prasie when it is deserved. To finish I have always found the team at Timberland a pleasure to deal with. It is the only company I have purchased anything from that the MD is willing to give you his works, home and mobile telephone number, and if called he answers it!!!!!! Maybe I have been lucky, I feel that this is not the case. I have always found that if you do not shout, demand you get what you want and this the case with Timberland. Well done Timberland, keep up the good work.

Hello Sparky

I can second what you say having bought my first Timberland and now on my second. I too have had warranty work done by a local dealer on Timberlands authority when I had a problem with the cab blinds. I have also had parts posted & we have fitted urselves where possible. I always got my warranty done to satisfaction on our first van. We are now coming up to the end of the first year with our current van when the annual services are due and also any warranty issues of which we have a few. These are due to be done early next month so I will report back when these are done.

We too are on our second Timberland and apart from a couple of minor problems (which were fixed without charge and whilst we waited) we are very happy with the vans and the support we have had.

Question

Has anybody else noticed how many members in this thread have just joined us(Oct 2008) and only put up 1 post. Of all the forums on MotorhomeFun they have decided to make this thread their first ever post.
Perhaps they would like to tell us how they have succeeded in getting such superb service from Timberland, unless of course ...

You may say there is some connection with Timberland... but I couldn't possibly comment.............

I am offended at what you have just posted. I certainly dont work for Timberland as I am retired. I have never worked for Tmberland & neither do any of my family.

I dont post often, more things to do with my time. I speak as I find. So far I have not had need to post on a public forum any dissatisfaction with my vans or with Timberland. Any problems I have had with the first van were fixed without charge either by Timberland or by someone nearer home when I couldnt get to Lincolnshire. As I posted we are going to Timberland with our current van in a few weeks for servicing and warranty issues work when hopefully all will be completed to our satisfaction yet again. If & when I am dissatisfied with ANY company I would first take it up with that company and give them the chance to put things right & not put it on a public board in the first instance.
