Induction Hob

I am away tomorrow evening and would like to take my induction hob with me, rather than using gas.

I know that there is some sort of formula, but maths being a weak point for me (along with lack of electrical knowledge) not too sure if it will blow the electrics at the camp site.

On the back of the plate it says 2000W 8A

providing the hookup is more than 8amps the no problem but you may need to turn off other 230v items......kettle etc.

I guessed that it would have to be on, on it's own

It's not something that I would normally carry around with me, but needs must this time.

Also depends where you're going. Few ehu outlets in France/Spain are more than 4A

am going to Swans Harbour just outside Norwich - taking my daughter to the theatre for her birthday.

So it's a local UK site - hopefully with enough 'juice' to cope.

A great thing those induction hobs. I got one from Maplins when they were on offer. Takes no room up and its lightweight. We dont use sites much, but if am paying for something I may as well use it.
