Drat John,

We're away in the RV that weekend.

Might have finally met up.Are you allowed to fly your own aircraft there?

We used to fly in the Aerobatic Competitions 15/16 years ago. They allow free flight in the evenings after competition and they also have Shockie and lightweight models in the Hangar at night. Any on 2.4 can fly. I have a Minium I bought last year that I may fly:-

Is that electric John? I see no exhaust.

I'm really into electric planes. No hassles with complaints of noise, although I was once approached by one of the anti-flying fraternity and had to demonstrate they were hearing things.

Yes. Electrickery. I've been dabbling with Electrics for around 30 years. Todays technology is far superior. The Mimium is on 2.4 Ghz. You can fly up to 24 on the same set. The Tx talks to the Rx and locks in. Have flown it regularly around Almafra. Alos. ALL my Helicopters are Electric.

Pardon me for asking at the risk of going off-topic....Was it expensive?

If you could possibly leave it in Spain I might try some slope soaring next year.

I bought it from the Nats last year for £60. They are usually around the £75 mark. I havve slope soarers too.

BTW. We are NOT off topic. We are talking about model aeroplanes. That's what the BMFA Nationals are ALL about.
