The BBC came under fire for ‘safety breaches’ after Richard Bacon conducts interviews inside a moving caravan as part of a Panorama election coverage show. In Monday night’s programme Richard Bacon was filmed in moving caravan with U.S. statistician Nate Silver as they travelled length of UK to gauge public opinion ahead of the election. The documentary shows them inside the caravan while it’s driven on the road; thereby flouting the law regarding towing caravans. As nice as the Airstream caravans look Panorama have done themselves no favours showing themselves up as illegal tuggers, I’m sure they can afford to upgrade to a motorhome.
