and whilst we're catching up with the real world let's junk the ancient measurements and go all metric... you know it makes sense

I am glad there is at least one other who agrees with me!

Leaving the EU would do more harm to the UK than people think. And we need to be a full integrated member so opt for the euro!

As soon as "they" mess with currency we strangely get increased prices, do you remember going into metric £ ?? We noticed a big increase in costs in Portugal when they dropped escudo, or did we imagine it????.

We should leave the euro and also get rid of all the european imports to boot!I will take my chances without doctors or anybody else,I am sure we could train our own

Yes, the problems we have with EU inspired legislation in this country is that our governments have slavishly implemented full directives instead of taking advantage of allowable derogations as other countries do.

P.S. Don't know if I'm being mischievous but I'm just waiting for somebody to demand that we get out of Europe and implement European petrol/diesel taxes in the same post

Hi, of coarse we need a grant!
we give them grants to wards insurance, £10 road tax!! and they still run around without it!!!!!,then we have to pay for an interpreter if we catch em
