Default Dog Passports

I have enquired about taking the motorhome to France in August, with my wife, daughter and dog. 180 return BIG MISTAKE.

A dog passport will cost in the region of 150- 180. Plus 6 months wait from Defra to be able to take him

What a conn ! 15 to take the dog on the ferry.

We're of to Scotland instead

15 thats cheap just cost me 30 with P & O and the same on the Euro tunnel last year. You can go as soon as you get the passport but you cant get back into uk till the 6 months is up.Passport + chipping cost about 180 and it cost us 55 Euro for the vet fee before you can get back. So yes much better in scotland lol except for the rain and midges...

Try getting Great Danes done.

Worth every penny once the passport is sorted.

Keep the passport up to date or you have to go through the procedure all over again.

Great when you can take the pets with you in europe

After our two dogs had their rabies vaccs & then there was the six month wait we went to Scotland - awesome scenery we were so lucky with the weather it was hot ! not so lucky with the midges even one of the dogs got bitten !

Our dogs have just had their rabies booster and great news - the next booster is not due for three years now (used to be every two years)

So ....Scotland first .... then France there you go
