Aldi selling Battery Booster/Jump Start

Just bought one of these in our local Aldi store. This is the second one I have bought, exactly the same piece of equipment and I have had the first one for ages. I have jump started a 3.5 tonne diesel van, inflated caravan tyres to 50psi and used the lighter sockets on no end of occasions over the past few years to pump biodiesel into my car. It has 12 volt & 5 volt sockets as well as various lights. I still have the old one which I will continue to use for 12 volt supply at home. Pretty good I think for almost £40 with 3 years warrantee.

I bought one a few years ago and it has been useful over the years.

The guarantee does what it says as well. The one I bought went wrong and I no longer had the original packaging. No matter, Aldi customer service just told me to pack it well in another box, had it picked up and delivered a brand new one.

Bought 1 myself yesterday as well, looks to be perfect little job as needed air compressor and this seems to be the perfect ideal job as i have trailer so can bring it to trailer to pump up tyres and has good little 5v usb charger on as well, even charged my I phone up on it yesterday as well,, so well worth all the gadgets on it apart from the jump starter as well, cant fault it for the money, Regards Garry Flatpackcghicken

Maybe OK for charging your mobile phone but as its advertised as a jump starter and if you expect it to start a camper diesel engine with a flat battery, its about as much use as teats on a boar pig.

These small Jump starters are hopeless! I bought one of These. You need the 1000 amp power to turn over a Diesel engine. worked every time for me

you are absolutely correct, saw simular post some time ago , marpin was selling them Went out and bought one , cannot even jump start my car The air compressor however was good as it will pump up my bicycle to 110 psi If you think it will jump start your motorhome, dream on

also bought one yesterday looks useful will also have a use on flying field to charge model aircraft batteries hope I never need to test jump start feature

Haven't got a motorhome 'yet' but I have jump started my neighbours Mitsi 3.0 ltr Shogan with it

. I never need to jump start my Range Rover but that is only a 2.5 BMW diesel.
