Myself, I still fail to see the benefit of an acsi card. as far as i cn see, it gives reduced rates out of season ? Welli didnt pay over 10e a night earlier this year, and with aires in france, and cl/ci in the UK, i'm sure i'm missing the point somewhere.

i know the price of most sites would be within or under what acsi offer out of season but for how much it costs the site books are worth the price if not the membership

I checked the Tariffs for a number of sites we used in the Dordogne and found that we were saving about 7 to 10 Euros per night using the ACSI card so for me I think it is good value & the sites we used were fabulous & much as I like the convenience of Aires I see them more as a stopover as opposed to a site where you can put the awning up & sit out with the BBQ going.

Same here... We usually get our money back + the first two nights out !

We tend to wild when travelling, but both woman and I prefer the bigger ( dare I say posher ? ) sites when we are plotting up for a few days.. usually the non ACSI prices are about 7 - 8 more

On top of that is the fact you have got the books with all the co-ordinates listed in them, which help no end when it comes to the 'where next' part of a trip

I purchased the acsi interactive Dvd this year 2012... a great tool gives easier reference than the book and more sites than are in the book.
You can choose an area and it will show you all acsi registerdd sites in a radius. These can be clicked on and the details come up, photos info etc.

You can also route plan.

Imo great value at 12. Not saying i would buy it every year but once loaded onto you lappy no need for the dvd and it stores your choosen sites and routes for reference.
