hi yes use king span or some of that extreme insulation from reimo. normal glass roll stufffalls down in use. could use polystirene but 1 inch isnt enough.

From my experience in boat building I recommend spray foam, it stops the panels from panting and can be used to stick the wood/plastic lining to the metal panel.
no fibreglass falls down into clumps .better to use extreme and stick it in place .think most of us have tried fibreglass to find its rubbish. good for sittng in your roof and not moving in your house.english caravans use fibreglass they never learn either.
Fibreglass/rockwool easier to use as it follows body shape better but as Alan says it shakes down, but it helps a lot to glue it in place, spray glue is good for this.

Spray insulation is best but bloody expensive, as Alan says Kingspan is the way to go for a cost effective reasonable flexible solution but glue it in place to stop it squeeking as well
