Good evening everyone

Just starting to help my mam in winterizing her Auto sleeper.
On telling her about draining down and opening taps up she came back with, cant i just add some Non toxic anti freeze like it says in the handbook??
Apprantly its available at all local motorhome dealers according to her booklet.

I have never come across this or heard of it B4

Anyone used or heard of it

We are both from Stockton but i live in Southampton now after leaving the Army last year, my mam travelled down 5 weeks ago and is on our front drive.

Only tried Towsure but they said they had never heard of it. It was just to make things easier for mother.

Thanks for all your replies and if you locate any drop me the details and i can pass them on. Hopefully price will put her off buying it.

I posted a source for this a couple of weeks ago:

Quote:
Non toxic or 'potable' antifreeze is widely available for boat, RV and presumably motorhome water systems.

Here is a UK source

Admit it sounds a good idea, but what happens if you use van in the winter, do you drain and start again on return?

No think I will stay with draining, or vodka at least you could drink what you drained.
