We have just returned from our first wonderful MH holiday touring Northern Scotland and the Orkneys. However, on our way home we had a stop at a site where they do not really cater too well for MH's or RV's and there was no easy facility for emptying the waste tank. The actual discharge valve is about an arm's length underneath and while trying to place a low enough bowl to discharge the waste I noticed what looked like a blanked off cap inverted with a screw thread. It looks as though it would take an extension kit but at the back of the cap it is sealed. Does anyone know if this screws out completely for the extension kit or does it have to be cut out? I don't want to start bodging as knowing my luck, it would probably cost me a new waste tank.
Any help would be appreciated as I could then fit something to make it easier to direct the waste water to the side of our MH rather than underneath.
