Hi Clo
Well, here we are, 12 hours to go till we depart for Dover to catch the ferry. With any luck, we’ll be in Arras tomorrow soir with a baguette and a glass of vin rouge in our hands.

Weather on Sunday was ghastly. Trapped in the wag for 12 hours as it rained & bloody rained. At least we know the wag doesn’t leak. Alan & Mary came over on Monday & took us for lunch at a local pub at the smallest town in England – Fordwich. A nice pub worth visiting – The George & Dragon.
Went to Whistable yesterday in the Smartie – cold & too many oysters. Picked up a few more bits from Halfords – again- I should buy shares.

Admin day today. Final navigation checks for all of our destinations en route to Garda. Seem OK.
Are trying to reserve pitches in the south of France for August. Not as easy as you might think. They insist on 14 days minimum stay – Stupid really. We’ll have to keep looking.

Smartie is on the trailer ready to go at 0715 tomorrow. Hopefully, the crossing will be kind.
Will miss the e-mail & computer. Difficult to keep abreast of stuff. Will have to sort something out.
Well, its an early night and off crack of sparrows tomorrow.

Speak soon
