Not a good day today, very windy and lots of persisting down. Anyhoo set off for a short walk. We walked round the Millenium wood where the rocks in the photo are from the local Quarry. This quarry supplied stone around the world and was also used in Buck House.
The Box tunnel (apparently quite famous) was built by Isamberd Kingdom Brunel.
Back home and off to The Quarrymans Arms for a dinner.
For you afficionados of Munchieness we had

Starters:-
Steph had, Stilton and asparagus pancake.
I had, a warm chicken and bacon salad.

Mains:-
Steph had, Beast of Guinea Fowl wrapped in Parma Ham with a cream and mustard sauce.
I had:- Lamb Rump in a port and redcurrant sauce.
Both with fresh veggies.

Sweets:- Steph had Bread and butter pud with cream.
I had Apple crumble and custard.

Phew both stuffed now so after this I will podge out with my Kindle.

The food was superb, beautifully cooked and all fresh.
Off to Ironbridge tommorrow more then. :thumb:
