Abbeyville 3

Woke to a much brighter day so my manager decided we would get the bikes off and cycle into Saint Valery Sur Somme.
A good ride along the canal where much work was going on felling trees.
Not too sure if we should have been on the towpath but the workers seemed ok with us.
Saint Valery Sur Somme is a beautiful place and we enjoyed the look around.
Once again we were taken aback at the standard of cleanliness. The place was pristine!!!
Off to Chartres tomorrow and will update as and when I can.

A bit about the campsite we are on at Abbeyville.
It has been taken over by a young couple who are refurbishing it.
We have a fully serviced pitch which is bigger than most in England.
The shower facilities are adequate but then we do tend to compare with the CC club which is a bit unfair.
The wi fi tho free is poor and I need to bring my booster.
Through ACSI cost is €11 a night.

A couple more photos for you. :thumb:
