Just a few words about the Zahora Party....

What a fantastic night... With "Flamenco Dancers" and "Paella" to die for and plenty of "Sangria" and Antonio singing and playing fabulously his Spanish Guitar and his friend accompanying him on a square drum (dont know what that is called).. and the smooth movements of a "Belly Dancer"

It will be a Night to remember for a very long time and pesonally I doubt will be bettered... and hopefully enjoyed by the 67 guests "Funsters" & "RVOC" Members...

Providing We can get in at another site we will be leaving Zahora on Monday or Tuesday after approx 7 weeks..

We, Myself Judy and Paul cannot leave without a Huge big "THANK YOU" to the following for their help with our car misshap... Garry (Our next door neighbour) Tony of Ant & Debs Fame.. Marie (Penelopepitstop)... Derrick my Chauffer... and Suzanne (Sue,Susy. Bryon`s better half) (For sorting out the garage and repairs) Thankyou..

And for the superb faultless organisation of last night`s (Frid 20th Jan) Zahora Party... The Flamenco Dancers The Guitarist/Singer organising the Paella and Sangria and every thing else... My grateful thanks to again Sue (Suzanne) and also Garry (Of Garry & Barb) for the music and compering the evenings entertainment and supplying the sound system..

And my thanks for my Birthday Present... (You know who you are) Much appreciated..

Hopefully a few photo`s at the bottom of this thread..

Best regards and hope you enjoy your stay and those moving on a safe journey..:thumb:

    Regards
    Maurice, Judy & Paul

Thankfully, we were able to get over to Zahora from the Algarve in time to attend the party. It was great to see so many Funsters having a whale of a time helping Old Mo to celebrate his birthday.

    Camping cabopino

    Hi Steve..

If you have the ACSI book it`s in there..

If not www.campingcabopino.com the website, I dont think is very good, and we are going on recommendations..

Pete, The Little Hobo is there.

The ACSI web site gives good directions and the write up is better than the campsite web for information.. :thumb:

We are going because there are supposed to be some nice level walks around the site.... We have never stayed there but thought on google there is more life than here.. :thumb:

    Mo

PS.. ACSI BOOK>> Campsite number 2000

I didn`t mean that nastily.. Just we are stuck to keep Paul occupied and he can walk around.. (I think)..

Thinking of coming down to Zahora (currently in Portugal) and meeting some funsters for the first time.
We did bump into Jaws on a motorway service station in Spain as he was on his way down (seemed like a nice chap)
Is there a special rate for Funsters and if so how do I get it?

Looks can be very deceiving... You will get on with him if you talk about "Harley Davidson Motorcycles"... :Eeek::thumb:

(Serious now)... I have not long left Zahora... And as far as I can remember they do a cheaper rate for long term.... IE, over 30 days.. (I may have that wrong)... The Electric and WiFi is included in the site fee`s and you can if you dont have a dish plug into the system on each pitch and get a few UK ..TV channels... :thumb:

During the day Give Carmen a bell, she works in reception and speaks very good English...

It`s a lovely friendly site with a lot of British there and a lot of things going on, I`m sure you will enjoy it.. :thumb:

Sorry no special rate for Funsters but they are in ACSI - I think it's €16 a night with an ACSI card.
    Long term rates are:-
    1 month stay - €330
    2 month stay - €300 per month
    3 month stay - €270 per month

All rates include electricity and wi-fi and cable TV

During the day Give Carmen a bell, she works in reception and speaks very good English...

Carmen is on holiday until Wednesday - she should be on for about 10 days then - she finishes at 3pm each day.

It`s a lovely friendly site with a lot of British there and a lot of things going on, I`m sure you will enjoy it.. :thumb:
