HI, Hope someone can help me please. I have moho with a Zadi lock which stopped working/locking. So, as you do, I took it to bits and the spring shown came off the sleeve. The barrel is inside the sleeve and seems to work OK, but when you put it all back together, it doesnt, because the spring not being in situ wont return the lock. So, you can lock from outside but not unlock, meaning you have to go in through the cab. Hope all this makes sense! What I think I need to know is whether its repairable and how the spring fits onto the sleeve. I gather its a Zadi M2 lock and they are obsolete, expensive and out of stock!

Hi Paul
I can't advise on your prob, I had a prob with one of the side locker locks. I made the mistake of taking it out. I had a prob trying to keep the centre spring in. I solve it by a small amount of blue tack to keep it in place, if that helps I don't know in your case. Pete

Ps If you can't fix it try O'leary caravan spares they seem to have everything.

Visit a locksmith. There's bound to be one near you.
I had a problem with a Rapido bathroom door lock (a not uncommon fault) and replacement locks were over £200!
A local locksmith fixed it with 2 new springs for £10 including the parts!

Wouldnt that would mean taking the whole assembly inside and out of though?

Looking at your last pic: does the lock barrel rotate within the black outer sleeve? There are two projections so if the two projections can move relative to one another I'd expect the spring to rest between them with one spring hooked end over one projection & t'other over t'other one. There will be witness marks to indicate how the hooks fit.

Yes it does rotate, but if spring was on the sleeve it would not fit back through the door, and fiddling with the spring with barrel/sleve in situ is impossible?
