Hi the trail is accessed from the entrance road as you enter the site also you can walk into Ashbourne along the trail and through the tunnel a nice site with a pub and micro brewery they have half price pitches in October.

Brilliant thanks we were looking for somewhere to go for a few days cycling, have just booked 3 nights at callow top on the half price deal £36 includes ehu plus extra for dog. Even the old threads are very useful

We recently stayed on Pomeroy Campsite between Buxton and Ashbourne .
A farm site with a brand new toilet and shower block some hard standings , water and waste on pitch and the high peak track is at the bottom of the site and pubs nearby.
