Yes, I am sure that Ralph and Bev have stayed here in the past and they told us about it recently. We stopped at Hawes, it is a lovely little town, make sure you go to the Wensleydale Cheese Centre and try out all the cheese samples:thumb:
We aren't members of the CCC, so didn't stay at the cattle market, but went onto to stay at the CC site at Lower Wensleydale near Harmby. Enjoy your trip, we've been around there so often now we feel right at home. From memory there are a couple of CLs close to Hawes and Leyburn.
There is another small private site in Harmby, with a lovely little pub right next to it. But there are no hardstandings on it, if interested can give you details.
The last time I stopped at Hawes cattle market there was an honesty box for the parking fee, whether it's still in use I don't know but it's a good market town to stop at.
