Are you on the CC site at Rowntree Park? If you are, pray that all the melt-water coming down the Ouse doesn't flood the site! This happened to us three years ago in early January!

This October I stayed at Willow house (info@willowhouseyork.com) near Wiggington, just 3 miles from York Centre, 100 yard walk to the site entrance there was an hourly bus service right into the centre of York for £2.70 return. We were sited on a CL ith hard standings that was an integral part of the site and was in fact cheaper than the main site pitches (CC Club membership although they didn't check). We had exactly the same access to the ablutions (50p for shower) and where actually closer to them than the main pitches and EHU and water connections were included. On site there was a very nice Farm shop and a cafe that did excellent breakfasts if required. I usually go to York every other year and I will definately use this site again. :thumb:
