The poster states the van has not been used since November of last year -2015 - Not last November - a couple of months ago, if this is the case its not surprising.

But he asked the question back in March.

We found the small current drain present while parked up was rather tedious so we fitted an isolator switch to the hab battery and use it when we know the van will not be used for a few weeks. The loss when re-connected the hab battery back into the vehicle electrics is now negligible.
