JUst got back from the North East of Scotland and had a problem entering Aberdeen. I had a very sudden loss of power and pulled over. Found the air hose connected to the air inlet manifold had become disconnected. Limped to a garage and fitted a hose clip, all okay after that.

On reflection, the hose, front of engine bay offside, had been secured with a cable tie. For the life of me I can't believe this is the way it should be secured, neither did the mechanic at the garage. Check yours and if it is a cable tie replace it with a hose clip to prevent problems.

Hope this helps someone.
