Whilst having 5 new tyres fitted to my 'van, the fitter who was refitting the spare into the carrier told me that my coil springs were broken. This came as a shock, as I'd only had them replaced 4 weeks before to get it through the MOT. I went back to the garage and was told by a mechanic that they weren't broken. As they hadn't been able to get hold of the correct ones, they had cut a bigger springs and had fitted them to both sides. As you can imagine, I wasn't impressed with this answer and left the van with them to fit the correct springs.

I would not be to pleased myself

I would not be to pleased myself.

If you have a sag why not install air assisted supplementary suspension .. it works well.

I have put it on my RV... while I imported mine from the USA, there are plenty of european versions by firestone and dunlop ... will improve the handling and save the issues with the spring.
