Interestingly enough we came across this at the campsite at Woodhall Spa a couple of years ago. It was up to its axles in mud and they were waiting on some special lifting gear to pull it out. Evidently between the parents they had about 12 kids. They also towed a huge boxed in trailer with a VW T4 type bus inside. In a former life it had belonged to a rock band and it shows by the inside!

Used both Club Sites and Cls with a 36ft RV, + Trailer , and provided the pitch can physically accommodate and the access is suitable they won't turn you away..

Generally CC CLs are no problem.. provided they have suitable access..

However they have introduced a max length of 28ft on some sites..

I've been a member of the CC (on and off) for over 40 years and had very few problems with site staff. If fact many go out of their way to help and make your stay a pleasure..

For Example..
In 2007 we went to Oban (with RV) and went into the North Ledaig CC site .. but it was full... The lady came out to look at the size of the RV... I heard a sharp intake of breath

She said wait a minute.. and went back into the office. ..then one of the other wardens came out and said we could park beside him if we didn't mind sharing .. now that is going the extra mile.

There are jobsworths are in all walks of life .. I take as I find..
