Just watched the film Gravity. There seemed to be a few issues with navigation . Surely a sat nav in all space vehicles would help. First question is usually to select language... Then you could select destination, or home.. Question might come up " this route requires re entry. Do you wish to proceed?"
All that tech and no satnav...........:thumb:

many many years! since I was a kid
sat nav or satellite navigation uses guess what? satellites in orbit to triangulate position so not much use when the business end of those satellites is pointing away from you.
as for the film, I thought what a load of crap and waste of time and money. way beyond being unrealistic to the point of being farcical. CGI not too bad but that is all it was about, showcasing the latest programming abilities and processor power.
