We are about to grace west Wales with our presence for a weekend, courtesy of a freebie from Irish Ferries. Not having spent a lot of time in Wales in the past, (we tended to drive straight through either coming or going to Holyhead,) we are looking for ideas on things to do and places to see. Bearing in mind that it is only for a weekend we dont want to spend all our time driving. All ideas welcome

Llanberis has plenty to see and do even if the weather is bad, you might even be lucky and get a ticket for the train to the top of Snowdon if you don't fancy the walk.

You are spoiled for choice. Snowdonia is fantastic and has tons to see and do, you could spend a month their seeing something new every day. Pembrokshire and the Gower have IMO have no equal in the UK; everything from walks in true wildernesses to traditional seaside towns. The Interior is full of lovely market towns and the Brecon Beacons national Park. Have a great trip:thumb:
