we're thinking about a new table and new kitchen work surface.
So,enquired from Camper uk,who e-mailed LMC-new table top £243 + vat and new kitchen worktop (which is more holes than surface ) £422 + vat !!!

I reckon there must be someone who could make or resurface my old ones for a lot less.
Any one got any ideas ?

    Mike

Hi Mike buy a sheet of Formica or Decamel from either ebay or Arnonld Laver :thumb: spend another tenner on impact adhesive and 30 quid on a cheapo router, then have fun  finish edges off with a flat file

Don't even need a router. Glue it on. Drill a few holes. Sweat a lot with a few new round files. Finish edges with a flat file.

    Simples.

    Rainbow conversions

Rainbow conversions in Wisbech make tables and do refitting but not sure what there charges are but I think they are reasonable.
A friend had two table tops made and he was happy with the price and quality
