We used to have one in our Bessacar and it was brilliant.

Our new van doesn't have one and is very slippy getting in and out of the shower ( hence bruised toes....)

Anybody know if you can get them custom made or are they available for a Kon-tiki 625?

You can get anything made if you go to the right place, is it a board with holes in or just the laths screwed together, the latter should not be difficult DIY.

I'd be careful using wooden shower inserts as they can damage the tray. There are lot of Broken Link Removed that work just as well

We have one in our Hymer which has a note on it not to use when showering I think it's for standing things on when shower not in use as you cannot close the door when it's in the tray.

I took ours out as I felt it could damage the shower tray, we just use a plastic shower mat, works just fine, and you can always take it into the shower block as well when on a campsite.

Thanks for the responses - given the sensible advice regarding the risks, have decided not to get one... Will get a shower matt instead - don't want to puncture the rounded corners of the shower tray and spend a fortune on repairs.
