I've got a IH 630RL, with the outward opening rear panel (not doors). Dealer fitted me with a Witter Tow Bar, and the problem now is that when the bike rack is swivelled downwards to it's maximum extent, the panel still does not clear the bike rack, and l therefore can't get access to the garage.

Thought process goes along the lines of - l wonder if there is such a thing as a tow bar extension - i.e. something that will attach to the ball head itself and extend for about two or three inches.

Anyone come across this problem and got a solution. All help much apprecitaed.

If all else fails, it would be simple enough to make up an extension

Is it a swan neck ball or a standard one bolted to the tow bar ?

    Hi Jaws,

It's standard one bolted to the tow bar.

Yes.. I have one here.. In comes out and also slopes a little so can raise or lower the height,,
If I dig it out I can do you a picture... Are you going to Thetford ?? If so Can bring it there..
You can have it for free, maybe throw a donation into the Jaws Thetford pot :)
