I just thought that as long as it is winter outside, everyone should share their tips on how to maintain a motorhome to get rid of damp, prevent parts and liquids from freezing and so on. Anyone?

Tip number one- FOR DETECTING DAMP, DON'T RELY ON AN ANNUAL HABITATION CHECK ALONE!

If your MH springs a leak a month after your service, 11 months of water ingress can cause you a lot of heartache and expense. Always check the condition of your seals and joints as often as you can, don't just leave it to an annual service to detect problems. If it looks like it might let in water, then it probably will! Stock up on silkaflex!:thumb:

Damp testers can be bought relatively cheaply these days and damp in your MH can often manifest itself as wet, cold upholstery and fabrics.
