Hi all, we will be coming home on the Santander Ferry to Plymouth middle of June, where is the best place to load up on wine before getting on the Ferry? Cheers!

I use Mercadona in Torrelevaga. Very close to Carrefour if you want to visit both (y)

Any wine warehouse within 5 miles of a port will be overpriced. They know they have you by the short and curlies as next stop is the boat.

Aldi & Lidl are OK :)

But last year we tried Carrefour and got 100 bottles for £200. Slightly better quality than Lidl and Aldi.

But at those prices, who cares ;)

We did try a few plastic bottles and a bit rubbish. But when we have big parties, we put them out at the end when nobody cares about quality
