Just got the renewal for my toad and as i had a windscreen replaced earlier this year the screen excess has been increased from £50 to £75.:whatthe:

not sure of the premium increase but i bet its gone up more than it would if i hadnt claimed.

and its listed on the renewal quote as a claim.:Angry::Angry::Angry:

they'll rake it back any way they can

Thought you were with the NFU Papajohn - Windscreens are not classified as a claim and the excess is £25 on Mine they do reserve the right to stop payment on excessive numbers of windscreens though I think it is 3 in a year when they get stroppy.

Had the windscreeen on my Autotrail replaced this year in Bavaria ( Insured with SAGA) at a cost to me of 80 Euros. I was shown the invoice for the screen alone which was 800 Euros , then there would be the cost for fitting. I consider the 75 pound excess too be a bargain. :thumb:
