I have a 1997 Pilote Galaxy 25S 'A' Class, built on a Peugeot Boxer chassis.

The window switch on the offside door is faulty but I can't get another. There is no part number on the switch, but it does have the Renault logo, so I took it to a Renault dealership. I thought they would sort me out with a new switch, but no they could not, and they suggested I visit Peugeot.

I have done so, but again without any luck.

I have e-mailed Pilote five days ago, they have not even bothered to reply.

Has anybody out there got any suggestions?

Regards, Steve

Hi Steve

without a part or makers number .. that's a tough one ..

RS Compnents is worth a look.. it's a long shot, but they have 964 micro switches listed, that should keep you busy ..

here is the link to micro switches...

A pic would be useful to narrow the search

yes they could, but the bu**ers wont

i wanted a copper sump bung washer for my fiat ducato but we dont have a fiat dealer near us so off to peugeot i go.......

when asked for a chassis or registration number.."we dont go by models anymore", i said it was a fiat....."we dont have any of those, they're different"

"dont be so bloody daft, they're made in the same factory, by the same workforce...its the same basic engine and a pug one will fit" says i.

"oh no sir, its a different part number"

"'course its a different number.....the one you have is in the pug parts list, not the fiat one, just sell me one."

makes me so bloody angry.....self rightous, pompous jobsworths.

i now have a fiat with a foriegn body attached to it.....a puegeot sump bung washer.

try your local breakers yard......loads of rusting pugs and fiats there.
