wild camping (1 Viewer)

I would like advice on a parking spot for my 5m long Hymer Motorhome close to Gosport. This would be for 3 -4 nights August bank holiday as I am sailing at Gosport MBC. I will be moving off every morning and returning evenings

I have always beleived it to be the kiss of death to publish wild camping spots. But in 44 years have never failed to stumble upon what is needed. gosport has been well built up since I lived in the area. Why not try the sailing club, if you are sailing from there they surely they will allow overnighting in the club carpark. Apart from that there are lots of little creeks and harbours, each with some track ot other. Also try Alverstoke and Lee-on-Solent neither too far away. Haslar worth a look around the creek/hospital area.

I lived in Gosport in '72 & '73, so much like Wildman, I'm sure it's changed a lot. From Google Earth, there's lots of yuppie style buildings all around the creek on the North side.

I'd look around Stokes Bay, South side of the area.
