wild camping workington ccumbria (1 Viewer)

Does anyone now anywhere in Workington in Cumbria where one can wild camp. Tried most of the small cl's around but all are to far out of the town itself.

I've not wildcamped at Workington but a quick look on Google maps shows a couple of possibilities west of Town Quay. Follow the Havelock Road, becoming Curwen Road. Just after the large left bend, 1st right takes you to the car park (no height barriers shown) at the end of the spit of land. There's a small lay-by on the right before you get to the car park, which looks a possibility.

May be worth checking out.
