Dave, to be honest a dongle is rather slow by today's standards. Have a look at MIFI devices which generally service up to 5 computers simultaneously. There have been many threads on them in the past. Good luck.:thumb:

Phil

PS rather nice van you've got there.

Do you mean home or abroad Dave (or both) because abroad is a different kettle of fish?

For home I use a Vodaphone dongle which used to be "non-expiring" but Vodaphone have changed that to expiring every 30 days. So I'm going to ditch it when the credit expires and buy a MIFI which I can use home and abroad (changing to appropriate SIM card).

Dongle I use Broken Link Removed

Hope this helps.

I have a T-mobile (so EE) dongle which is surprisingly good, except for the few places where I can't get a signal. At present I am having router problems at home on my desktop, so the dongle is being used there - very handy and now I'm really glad I bought it! :thumb:

I have used a 3 prepaid sim card in a dongle for the past 3 years. There are remote parts of Scotland where there is no signal, but generally good.
