Hi Funsters, this weekend I will be working on a web page that will explain the benefits of being a forum subscriber to newbies or those just lurking.

Any chance you could give me some quotes to use on that page. Obviously I'll only publish the positive, sensible ones!! Why you subscribed etc. Many thanks.

I subscribed because you are bigger than me and you know where I live (and work.)

PS. and the friendship, motorhome help, knowledge base, information, excellent fun at rallies, the weekly quiz, advice and suggestions relating to motorhoming, discounts and... and... and... also went a little way to making my mind up.

For the people I have met; the friends that I have made; for the assistance I have been given and have been able to give; for the fun I have just reading some of the posts and the sense of camarderie: where else could I get all that for just over three pence a day.

The wealth of information that is available, not just for people new to motorhoming, but we all learn something we didn't know every now and again. You can't put a price on that sort of thing so that alone makes it worth every penny. Plus of course it's such a friendly place. If only the jokes were better!:Smile::Smile::BigGrin::BigGrin:

You don't usually get much for free in this life - £12 in real terms is not a lot for the vast knowledge data base that forms the membership of fun - we have met quite a few funsters on the road and at meets and the Fun flag is the best thing to start conversation flowing plus all the other points that have been mentioned already:thumb:

One very good reason I like our forum is because of the light handed way the forum is moderated, no Nazi ass....s on here. :thumb:

I have seen this happen on many other forums, even when they decide to charge you you are not treated any differently.

The fact that you don't get a rollicking if you do make a mistake means you think before you post in the first place.

    Long live the FUN.

When you ask a question you get answers, not some key board warrior just answering to pump his post score up making sarcastic comments.
